This frozen berry and nectarine sangria combines some of the best flavors of summer with a fruity red wine for a refreshing cocktail that can serve a crowd. Perfect for pairing with a spring/summer brunch spread.
I am totally crushing on the flavor combo of nectarines and raspberries – both of which add fruity flavor to this tasty frozen sangria! Let’s just say, this frozen berry and nectarine sangria is going to be my go-to cocktail for the summer. If you haven’t noticed yet, I just can’t get enough nectarines of late.
In fact, this is the second recipe including nectarines that I’ve posted in a week! –> Might I suggest you buy a few extra nectarines and serve up your sangria with a bowl of this apricot, berry, and nectarine salad. 😉 With most summer produce, I feel like I’ve got to make the most of it while it is in peak season since it only comes once a year, right?
Tips for Making this Sangria
- Based on your sweetness preference, you may need or want to add some agave nectar or other liquid sweetener when blending. I skipped it though and thought the fresh fruit added just the right amount of sweet.
- You’ll likely have to work in batches when pureeing the ice into the fruit and wine mixture since this makes a big pitcher of sangria.
- If you aren’t ready to serve it all at once, simply leave out the ice and store the fruit/wine blend in a container in the fridge. When you are ready to serve, just pour it in the blender and blend with an equal amount of ice. Since there’s just the two of us, we were able to enjoy sangria a couple nights this week with dinner!

Frozen Berry and Nectarine Sangria

- 1 bottle fruity red wine
- 2 nectarines

- 1/2 cup Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
- 1-2 tablespoons agave nectar or other sweetener like simple syrup adjust as needed - we liked it without!
- 6 cups ice
Instructions
- Add wine, nectarines, mixed berries, Grand Marnier, and sweetener (if using) to a blender and puree until smooth.
- Work in batches to add the ice to the sangria mix. Pour out 1/2 half of the mixture into a separate container and add 3 cups of ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a pitcher and repeat with the second half of the fruit mixture and the rest of the ice (3 cups).
- To serve, rim glasses with sugar and pour frozen sangria into glass. Garnish with additional berries and nectarines.
